Flying paper (Papel Volador) (2011)

Taken away from the forest with the illusion of becoming something important when transformed into paper, the were utterly dissapointed when turned into flyers thrown away. Enraged, the flyers attack the people... WTF?

Coproduced this cut-out animation with some friends for shortfilm contest on 2011. I did the storyboard, the animatic and the rigging for some characters. I animated the first and second shot of the park scene, the one with the chainsaw cutting the forest, and the "tree eating factory" scene.
The characters where painted in photoshop and then rigged in Toon Boom or AE, depending on the shot and animator.

I have some regrets toward the ending message, but the toilet paper ending was hilarious.
